Oddly enough after I reapplied the license to my account from the laptop the download link was available and no longer available from PC, so Microsoft is somehow aware of which computer I am using to apply licenses? Why should that even matter? And why didn't the tech support guy know that?Īnyhow I was able to download it and install it as a client on my laptop and I got the presentation of Visio finished. the really odd thing is I had this idea to unapply the license to my account from the PC and then reapply it from my laptop to see if that did anything. I logged into admin portal and went to where the download option was on my desktop PC and the download option was simply not there on my laptop. So I went to install it on my brand new laptop. I had an option to download it as a client option, for some reason though my computer was getting some. I went in as admin and saw it was applied to the account. Visio 365 Pro was not in my portal when I logged into 365 and I had just purchased it. but I had a similar issue and I fixed it a really odd way.
